Description

ModeratorNotes allows server staff to easily keep a record of notes for the players on their server. The plugin's purpose is to ensure that information regarding player bans, mutes, warnings, other forms of punishment, and general observations can all be kept in an easily accessible location.

When server staff punish or warn a player on their server or notice something suspicious, they can record a note that can be read by other server staff at any point in time. This ensures that all server staff are kept up-to-date on daily occurrences on their server.

The biggest advantage of this plugin is that a staff member can quickly check to see if another staff member had already warned or made a note about a player. This prevents players from getting off with more warnings than they deserve due to a lack of communication among the server staff.

Features

• Keep lists of notes on any player
• Notes are stored in a file name notes.yml
• Notes for any player can be read back at any time
• All notes will be prefixed by the date and user that added the note
• Remove all notes for a player with a simple command
• Remove an individual note for a player with a simple command

Permissions

Note that Ops will have all of the permissions by default

• moderatornotes.* will give player all the permissions in ModeratorNotes
• moderatornotes.read will allow player to read notes about another player
• moderatornotes.add will allow player to add notes about another player
• moderatornotes.remove will allow player to remove notes about another player

Commands

• /note read <playername> will allow staff to read all notes for the specified player
• /note add <playername> <message> will allow staff to record a note for the specified player
• /note remove <playername> will allow staff to remove all notes for the specified player
• /note remove <playername> [note number] will allow staff to remove only the specified note for the specified player

Future Features

• Add a configurable date format
• Add note pages if there are a lot of notes for one player
• Add a configurable option that includes the notetaker's coordinates in the note
