DeathCraft is a plugin to make dying fun!
Not really. Dying always sucks - But DeathCraft will make it more fun for everyone else.
DC is a fun tool that will allow several new features!
- Customized, Unlimited death messages for every type of death, differentiating between Mob (pve) and player (PVP) kills
- Configurable Death Chests with different permissions for Small, Large, and Free version of Both!
What's New?
- v1.4 adds the ability to add and remove death messages online, as well as set a list of blocks you want the Death Chests to override. See the file description for more details!
- v1.3 is our biggest update yet - Prefixes for Death messages, Set use of display, or real name, added Anvil death messages, created an update checker so that you're always in sync, added /dc reload (requires deathcraft.admin permission), and added disabling of PVE vs PVP death chests. Woo!
Installation
- 1) Download
- 2) Put deathcraft.jar in your /plugins folder
- 3) /reload your server, or restart.
- 4) ???
- 5) DEATH!
Known Conflicts**
- DeathCraft and CreeperHeal do not get along with one another - You must disable chests in one of the two plugins.
Configuration Options
As of right now, configuration can only be done offline by manually editing the config.yml file. Config Syntax is simple:
TypeOfDeath:-Message 1-Message 2-Message 3DifferentTypeOfDeath:-Message1-Message2
A default configuration with (mostly) the default messages is generated on the first run for every type.
Bug Reporting and Suggestions
If you find a bug, or have a suggestion, PLEASE open a ticket! I can't fix what I don't know is broken, and I can't add what I don't know is wanted. :)
ToDo
- Togglable allowance of locked chests for popular protection plugins (LWC, Locket)
